The colors represent the ALTERATIONS of environmental radiation from the usual, pre-Fukushima accident values. They prove how the actual natural radiation of the area has been changed by the NPP emissions after the blowouts.
The black dots, insteaf, represent the actual environmental radiation of the area, indipendently from the natural radiation. The peak is of course all around Fukushima, again.
Data on the Fukushima region are not as precise as the others, as they are the result of a single reading taken 20 km NW of Fukushima NPP by a police unit (NBC) on 29/03/2011 at 09:13.
